People Carousel

Usage

Use on event or course detail pages to showcase a list of speakers, facilitators, or team members. It gives each person a portrait, name, role, and optional social/web links, providing credibility and context for attendees considering whether to register. Each person is displayed as a People Card with a square 1:1 portrait image, bold name, role/organisation, and up to 3 optional all-caps text links (e.g. WEBSITE, LINKEDIN, INSTAGRAM). Cards without links simply omit the link row. One card at a time can be shown in a hover/active state — visually elevated with a white background and drop shadow — to indicate the currently focused person. The section heading (e.g. "Speakers") is configurable. An optional carousel controller (left/right chevron buttons, showController prop) appears in the top-right corner, allowing navigation through more people than fit in the visible row. Currently only a Desktop variant is defined in Figma. Check with the team before using on Tablet or Mobile without a confirmed responsive spec. The module is best used within the Details Page Content module or as a standalone section on event/course detail pages, positioned after the Page Header List.
